Lindy Rose Smith

Lindy Rose has a BA in Visual Arts and a Diploma in Fine Art. For over 40 years she has made a range of domestic ware, including mugs, bowls, vases and large platters using fine stoneware clay and porcelain clay. The work is fired to 1300oC in a natural gas kiln in a reducing atmosphere. Her work is decorated with custom designed coloured glazes and pigments.

Over the past 10 years Lindy has developed her interest  in textiles, by attending many workshops run by the organisation she is a member of, ATASDA (Australian Textile Arts and Surface Design Association).
